School of Computer Science and Software Engineering

Undergraduate

Our School offers undergraduate majors in Computer Science and Applied Computing.

Computer Science and Software Engineering majors

Applied Computing

The Applied Computing major focuses on data and scientific computation and will provide students with the practical computing and information technology skills that will greatly complement the knowledge and skills acquired in science and engineering majors. Through a combination of practical and theoretical courses students will develop an understanding of how to use technology for efficient and effective data collection, conversion, analysis, visualisation and interpretation.

Computer Science

The Computer Science major provides students with the knowledge and skills required to revolutionise the way we live, work and communicate. You will learn the theoretical, algorithmic, implementation and systems principles that underpin computer languages and networks and discover how to develop new technologies and advanced programming.
