Our School offers a variety of undergraduate bachelor degrees and majors.
The Bachelor of Computer Science and Computing and Mathematical Science are three-year degrees, with the possibility of an add-on honours year.
The Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering) is a four-year degree.
It is possible to take a major in Computer Science, Information Technology Systems or Information Technology Applications in either the Bachelor of Science or the Bachelor of Science (Bioinformatics) courses.
In the Bachelor of Computing and Mathematical Science, students must complete two majors in their third year. The first major must be from the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering or the School of Mathematics and Statistics. A second major can be taken from a range of areas including:
Software Engineering students should be aware that the first-year engineering program consists of foundation units, which are taken by all engineering students.
There are six core units and two optional units, which are taken in second semester.
It is possible to combine a Computer Science or Software Engineering degree with a second degree - browse the combined degree options.
