There will be two programming assignments for this unit, each is worth 15% of your assessment for the course. The exam, worth 70%, forms the remainder of the assessment. The programming assignments must be submitted by the specified due dates. Late submissions will have marks deducted at a rate of 10% for each day late. Special circumstances must be discussed with the unit coordinator prior to the submission date. No extension will be granted after the due date. You may discuss with other students the general principles required to understand this project, but the work you submit must be solely your own effort. You can also discuss the general principles on the help1005 forum and seek help from the teaching staff. However, posting solutions and code of the project to the forum will be considered as plagarism. In accordance with the School's Policy on Plagiarism, plagiarism will incur severe penalties. All submitted project work will be tested electronically for plagiarism. Your work must be submitted electronically on cssubmit. Detailed instructions are given in the project specification.
