The Centre for Software Practice is a unique training enterprise that seeks to straddle both business and education, offering professional services to both the university and the wider community while simultaneously training new UWA talent in the web industry.
We offer high-quality research training and supervision for students through postgraduate degrees by research.
Visitors to the School are most welcome, whether you are a visiting academic on sabbatical, a graduate student wishing to visit and work with a research group for a while, or you just want to pass through and give a seminar.
Visitors, Research Fellows and staff are invited to give a talk on a subject of interest, and submit either an abstract or paper for our annual School Research Conference. These may be technical research talks, or talks on topics of broader interest, such as the future of computer science.
