Title: Teaching and Research in Computer Science/Information Technology at Flinders University

Abstract

In the seminar I will discuss some of the current issues relating to teaching and research in CS/IT at Flinders University. Issues discussed will include: service teaching topics - can we cater for students from 15+ different degrees in a single topic, flexible delivery in CS/IT, success of the Bachelor of Information Technology degree and its implications for teaching and research, and new initiatives in teaching and research.
