Seminar Room 1.24

Abstract:

Open Source software has become a viable alternative to maintream, commercial software. This talk will take you through some of the open source software products used at my company, The Family Health Network: why we use them, problems with them, technical comparisons and price comparisons. I will also go into detail about several non-headlining open source technologies, including FreeBSD and PostgreSQL.
