Industry Advisory Panel

The Industry Advisory Panel advises the School on its teaching and research programs, particularly with regard to their relevance to local and international industry needs.

The panel contributes to the formulation of the objectives of the School and to assist in their achievement. The main role of the Panel is to provide an external industry perspective on the functions and operations of the School's teaching and research activities with the aim of ensuring they are:

  • of significance to the professions
  • consistent with industry and government objectives
  • in accordance with industry needs for graduates
  • consistent with changes in technology; 
  • likely to promote knowledge and understanding through the conduct of teaching, research and scholarship at the highest international standards for the benefit of the international and national communities and the State of Western Australia
The panel provides advice and recommendations to the School and also may make recommendations to the Faculty Industry Advisory Board on issues relating to the role of the Faculty Industry Advisory Board.
